Confirmed from American Heroes Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Took my terrier pup here and this dog park is AWESOME! We live in an apartment, so he's excited to run whenever he has the chance. They have two separate enclosures (big and small), that are double gated. And strong reinforced fences all around, to keep puppies safe. There are puppy clean-up areas and water fountains.

Super clean park! Inwas here on a saturday night and there were only 2 other dogs but both people ans dogs were mellow and friendly...no drama! Which sounds silly but if you frequent dog parks you understand. Rest of park is very nice as well. Lovely walking path , nice.playground and working water fountains!

This is a pretty big park in which to run around and let off steam. There are a lot of wide open spaces to explore and the park is clean. There are two dog parks, one for small dogs and the other for large canines. It seems pretty safe. You can reserve the covered tables if you want to have a party there.

This is a great Park to take your dog to. Not only do they have a really nice dog park sectioned off into spots for big dogs and small dogs but they also have a large field that you could run your dog in or walk around as well. It's really quiet and clean and safe there.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
