Confirmed from Amos Herr Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation venue with a playground, athletic fields and courts, and a zip line.
What runners say about Amos Herr Park
“Very nice park, well kept, clean and I love the fence that goes the entire way around.”
“Beautiful, Spacious, and full of adventure the whole family can enjoy.”
“One of the best parts of this playground is there is not only large and mature shade trees, there is a ton of shaded seating for parents and kids to get out of the sun if needed!”
“It's a great park for kids of all ages, and because it's wheelchair friendly, it's also great for parents that have kids in strollers!”
This is a wonderful playground. It’s huge and has such a varied amount of things for kids to do from multiple sets of monkey bars to a few different slides. Plenty of swings, a zip line swing, spinning saucer, rock walls, sandboxes, an area for the smaller kiddos, and mostly stroller accessible so you can follow kids…
Very lovely park. Good playground, plenty of areas for various sports. There are a couple small pavilions you can reserve, and there are bathrooms. My personal favorite is the (approx.) mile long walking trail around the perimeter.
Wonderful park that has unique and updated features that would pertain to any age! Love that there is a little kid area and most of the park is shaded! In addition the bathrooms near are very clean and maintained well!
Beautiful clean park! This park has a large playground with so many different play styles within. The playground is 90% enclosed which is nice for the kiddos who tend to run off. Worth a trip!
