Confirmed from Noel Dorwart Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded locale with a trail network, a dog park, and wildlife sightings, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about Noel Dorwart Park
“The trails are well kept and great for going on runs, trails are marked and measured if you want to track your distance.”
“Tucked between neighborhoods and shopping centers, this beautiful park (managed by the LCSWMA) has 3.”
“It’s very peaceful and quiet even though many people can walk the trail.”
“Love to go there with the family for walking the dogs.”
Very nice use of the wetlands, and this is a lovely trail/walking park. UPDATE: to all the entitled who take their dogs here and you either do not have them properly leashed and/or don't clean uo their feces, please find somewhere else to be inconsiderate and disrespectful to others.
I'd give six stars if I could. This place is my solace ever since I moved to the area. I run here most days, taking in the nature and wildlife. If you go at the right times, you can see deer, tortoises, frogs, birds, squirrels, and snakes (watch out!).
Another unassuming park that is an incredible spot to find nature and one of the best places to bird in the county! Tucked between neighborhoods and shopping centers, this beautiful park (managed by the LCSWMA) has 3.5 miles of trails within 70 acres of preserve.
It's a nice little oasis close to Lancaster City and Wegmans. I will admit it's more of a short walk and not a lot of see. Yet it's clean peaceful.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
