I've been here a few times before with our students for school trips. Brought my own kids here yesterday. They had a good time, and so did I. This park is meant for all ages and abilities. Plenty of seating, tables, and shaded areas. Bathrooms are available and a water foutain.
Ankeny Miracle Park is one of those parks that makes family time feel smooth and grounded. Everything is laid out with care—wide paths, open sightlines, and space that lets the whole crew move without feeling crowded or chaotic. The playground is a real highlight.
