Confirmed from Ann Rudd Saxman Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small park with trails, picnic tables, and benches, plus plant info, wildflowers and birds.
What runners say about Ann Rudd Saxman Nature Park
“Beautiful flower gardens, amazing view, and if you're a lover of butterflies like mwah you will most certainly will get some breathtaking moments.”
“I didn't explore much but what I did see was very nice and surprisingly quiet considering where it's located.”
“Loved another nature path and one that is dog friendly!”
I found this gem purely by accident. Very easy trail, while I was walking I met a staff member that gave me a lot of information about the trail. She showed me how they check for ticks, happy she had not found any. Went into the building that looks like a barn, again the staff was informative.
Loved another nature path and one that is dog friendly!! We went prior to the spring cleanup and with the weather we have had this winter, there were a few trees down and some cleanup that needs done. That said, it will be gorgeous in the spring and summer and it gives me the variety I crave when trail walking.
Looking at it you would never expect the size of the reserve. Beautiful flower gardens, amazing view, and if you're a lover of butterflies like mwah you will most certainly will get some breathtaking moments. Many trails, informational signs along the way to inform you on some fun facts. Overall its worth a stop
Nice picnic area. Dog friendly. Plenty of places to sit along the way. Honey bees, info on local plants and wildlife, and tips on invasive species. More trail markers/signs would be great. I’m sure it’s easier to see everything later in spring/summer.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
