Confirmed from Annette Brand Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Annette Brand Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (75 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“It’s not the most well maintained or new playground but the park is really cute!”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“A beautiful park with a great playground!”

🌳 shaded & cool 6 mentions

“Pretty park with play structures, picnic areas, shade, volleyball area, lots of open space, street parking is available.”

A hidden treasure in Louisville. This park is in a very scenic location. Kind of hidden from the main roads and so is less crowded.

★★★★★ — Manoj , Oct 2016

A pristine and clean park to walk your dog or run a little. There is a nice playground for children.

★★★★★ — Rikka , Jan 2018

Good neighborhood park. Small playground with slides and swings. Sand pit for kids and a sand volleyball pit. Great grassy area for running and playing. Looked like some very nice trails that people were walking and biking on. Lots of picnic tables and shade.

★★★★☆ — Cindy , Oct 2022

Really great park! Structures appropriate for toddlers and big kids, sand pit, volley ball area, big field for running around. The play structures have big shades over them which is a nice touch. Hidden gem!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🌳 Shaded / tree cover 6 mentions
