Confirmed from Davidson Mesa Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Landscaped park with trails for biking and running (plus an off-leash dog park).

Beautiful views along the walking trail. Plenty of bikes, runners and dog walkers (designated areas for off leash as well) We did about a 3 mile loop. It's a beautiful area and has ample parking in the lot at the park and across the street.
Nice and easy trail for a jog, this is a full sun trail so go early morning during the summer unless you like walking in 90 degree sun. The trail is all dirt/gravel so it’s nice for lower joint impact compared to sidewalks. The Harper kale trail across the road has a restroom since this one does not.
Davidson Mesa is one of the most underrated parks in the area. Perfect for running as the outer loop is almost a perfect 5k (3.1 miles). Very scenic views and it never seems to get too crowded at any point of the week or day, but you'll certainly see others on a walk, run or bike ride.
The Davidson Mesa trailhead occupies a high point in the local geology and provide one with a fairly commanding view in most directions but especially to the west toward the Flat Irons and Rockies beyond. As the sun was setting, and the sky was clear, the various colors of purple orange and gold began to Appear.
