Confirmed from Aqueduct Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Aqueduct Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (644 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 15 mentions

“One of the best most peaceful, scenic, and awesome stops along the Augusta Canal trail.”

This locale is an absolute gem! A bit off of the beaten path (if you try to follow Google Maps you will get a pin smack dab in the middle of Highway 104!) Once you DO arrive, it is gorgeous. There are trails with lush greenery and stunning views of The Savannah River, Rae's Creek and the Augusta Canal.

This place is just beautiful! It's a great place to take a walk, ride a bike, swim, go Canoeing, or just sit and relax while working or reading. It's also completely free. I love sitting next to the waterfall or the lake and just reading. I will miss this beautiful location as I do not live in Augusta Georgia.

Finally made it here! Gosh does Augusta have all types of conveniently tucked away gems! You just have to go to feel what I am trying to describe. You feel so far away, almost like in a secret garden, but once you have to return back to the real-world from a mystical time capsule of a oat time outdoors, well it feels…

Amazing park! Beautiful views throughout. Perfect for walking, running, biking, or just relaxing near the creek enjoying what nature has to offer. Highly recommend visiting if you are ever in the area

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
