Confirmed from Arkansas City, KS Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Arkansas City, KS Bike Trail
I feel safer on this trail than I do walking in town. There are little watering holes for your dogs, several benches to sit on and a bridge to stand above the traffic on.
This is a very nice, smooth path. It's pretty along the river, but there's no shade so it's very hot in the summer. It's also secluded and there aren't lights, so it's not safe alone or at night. And the end of the trail is kind of in the middle of nowhere.
Nice wide path. Great when walking with dogs and meeting head on or being passed by bikes. Plenty of room.
Absolutely beautiful walk or ride. Benches senery wild life sunsets.....WoW A must if you are near by!!
