Confirmed from Arroyo Conejo Open Space's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Open space featuring canyons, waterfalls and caves, along with biking and hiking trails.
What runners say about Arroyo Conejo Open Space
“Great trails with beautiful views and a gorgeous waterfall”
The creeks are gentle and very soothing. The sound of the water alone is a very calming and relaxing thing. It only helps emphasize the already peaceful and healthy atmosphere. The air here is crisp and moist. The trees are elegant and magnificent. The view is awe inspiring.
Arroyo Conejo Open Space hosts an array of different trails, and is connected to the trailheads of Wildwood Creek State Park. Alternating between trails can lead you to my personal favorite location, the Indian Cave, an exemplary pillar of how our ancestors might have lived thousands of years ago.
Had an excellent hike here today. Serene and at times challenging. Watch out for poison oak though!
Great hiking area that connects to Wildwood park. The arroyo Conejo is like a little Grand canyon.
Trail conditions & character
“Don't miss Paradise Falls , the Indian cave and the view from Lizard Rock.”
“Resources include steep-sided canyons, oak woodlands and riparian vegetation which provide ideal habitat for nesting.”
