Confirmed from Asbury Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with nature trails, playgrounds, and picnic tables, plus tennis and basketball courts.
What runners say about Asbury Park
“A beautiful, well-kept park with trails, a boardwalk, & nature center with a live beehive.”
“Always beautiful this time of year as the trees begin to shed their leaves and get ready for winter.”
“Great place for a local hike gets some muddy spots after rain but generally a easy hike.”
Well maintained trails with access to a fantastic stretch of Walnut Creek. Many boardwalks, bridges, and benches. The nature center and playgrounds are a welcomed bonus- great adventures abound!
Definitely worth the hike, you can have a great time with either family, friends, or even by yourself! So much to look at no matter the trail you take.
The walking trails at this park are great! The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because some of the markers are a little misleading. They are not to the point you would get lost, but at least present. I was surprised by the lack of bugs.
It’s a lovely small trail of around 2 miles with great flora and fauna. We spotted apple trees, acorns, maple trees and quite a few birds. The trail is safe and has good directions throughout. Can easily be done by kids, adults and elderly with exit options if one wants to end the trial early.
