There are plenty of trails here, and the trails are well marked. the quarries were nice but not very impressive. there are a few abandoned antique vehicles across the forest that were neat to find. I hiked here for about two hours doing most of the trails.
Great hiking trails that include the Bay circle Trail and numerous others. Also with history going back to a corrupt mayor of Boston of the 1920s, his last name is Curly, also serving time as a congressman I believe and had a stone bungalow at the edge of the Town Forest that he used as a hideout and "dry out" from…
Beautiful wooded, shaded trails that you can spend a little or a lot of time. Hike or run. I was happy to find this little gem! (Wanted to avoid running on narrow windy roads)
Exceptionally well marked trails let you explore this wonderful forest with full confidence. Recently went twice with NY family to hike the eastern and then western sections and were delighted to see deer both times as we approached the exits near dusk.
