Stagecoach Stop is Athol History Trail marker Number 11. This corner was once the hub of 5 stage roads which stopped here regularly from 1790 to 1853. The John Brook's Tavern stood nearby. Today it is still a busy place and a great place to stop while following the trail. There are several other markers nearby.
