Confirmed from Auburndale TECO Trail South Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Auburndale TECO Trail South Trailhead
“Beautiful views, mostly well maintained all over the place, there's a few grills spread out here and there - I could camp out here if they'd let me lol.”

“Five stars but it needs more benches with shade and garbage cans another bath room.”
The Auburndale Trail is of an extended trail system. The Auburndale Trail, Auburndale Teco Trail, and the Van Fleet Trail is over 50 miles in length. This section of the trail is thru Lake Myrtle Sports Complex. The are several large parking lots. The sport's complex have multiple soccer and baseball field.
Great trail, lots of shade and runs alongside a large park. This trailhead has full facilities including a water bottle refill station and lots of parking. If you're going north you do have to cross a 4-lane divided highway with no traffic signals or flashing pedestrian beacons, so use caution.
Great way to connect to the 30 mile Van Fleet trail. The southern Van Fleet trail head does not have a bathroom which is why I would recommend to come here if you are biking long distance. Pavement is smooth and road crossings are decent.
Beautiful trail. Five stars but it needs more benches with shade and garbage cans another bath room. Its a long hot trail on foot
