Beautifully and well maintained trails. Some places are a bit rocky causing for a bit of tenderness on my horses hooves but other than that I highly recommend and will continue to return!
Several trails...can go around the lake, can go on a longer hike thru a cow pasture to go way back in to additional lakes, or thru old oak tree groves (my favorite). Beautiful no matter which. Not alot of people 😊 Oh, you may encounter people riding horseback 🐴 occasionally
Great place for a hike if you need to reconnect with nature. Not a lot of shade, but when you do come across a shaded area, it’s refreshing. Also nice to see a little bench to sit and rest. The lake was picturesque. I didn’t get a chance to check out the cattle trail but definitely want to check it out next time.
A great peaceful hike good trails well marked. Opportunity to see a lot of wildlife. Horses & dogs welcome as well. They do have a picnic location at the entrance by the parking lot & restroom available there also.
