Confirmed from Audubon Davis Memorial Wildlife Refuge's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

My hometown, i grew up nearby. Tons of historic stories about this area. Ive found many antique bottles and metal off the trails where a small community once existed. The Davis' who established this area are also buried in a historic cemetary on the premises. Check it out, hike and do some research!

Hidden Gem. Great place to walk and get lost. Didn't encounter a soul. I recommend it

I love running here. It is super quiet and the trails are well maintained.

★★★★★ — Eric , Dec 2021

Easily accessible, tho well-hidden, local gem with a waterfall, fishing stream, easy and well-maintained trails, revolutionary war and 19th century family historic cemetery. Nice loop with gentle rises and falls for hiking or even careful jogging.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
