Confirmed from Austin Badger Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park for hiking, biking and trail running, with views, a café and fitness stations.
What runners say about Austin Badger Park
“The enclosed building is available to rent out & it's great, very clean.”
“Lots of beautiful views & different path options to change things up if you’re a frequent goer.”
“The only negatives that I found were that you are very close to the interstate and it's not quiet.”
This is a great spot for walking but also for biking. Some days there is a small Cafe on the premises that caters to cyclists. There's a spot to wash off bikes or fix a flat tire. The enclosed building is available to rent out & it's great, very clean. The path to walk is paved & it goes under a cool railroad bridge.
Beautiful park with many points of interest. Wonderful job converting a former golf course to a public park. A great Spring day made everything perfect. But, I have to admit, this park will put your 'endurance' to the test. If it wasn't for the paved paths, biking, for me, would have been too much.
Beautiful trail with bridges, landscaping, and creeks. Very hilly and steep inclines at times. Walking trails are paved and well kept. In the winter wear proper footwear, snow on the inclines get slippery. Our dogs loved it.
Thank you Montville Twp for acquiring this property and making it amazing! The walking path is perfect for low intensity cardio due to the amount of hills. Also, the mtb trails are some of the best in the Akron area.

“Includes lots of inclines for a good workout instead of just a straight, flat trail.”
