Confirmed from Austintown Township Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A very nicely sized park! They have many amenities, including disc golf, wooded and paved trails, baseball and softball diamonds, pavilions for picnics, fireplaces, and a pond for fishing.

★★★★★ — Brandon , Jun 2020

The park is well maintained and has a variety of things to do from hiking to disc golf. There are both wooded and open field trails for hiking and dog walking. Speaking of dogs, there is also a dog park with a fenced in area for dogs and owners to meet eachother and play.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

“There's a dog park with a big separate space for smaller dogs, basketball and tennis courts, frisbee golf, and a nice pond and trail.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
