“Such a nice place to walk or bike under the trees to keep cool on hot days with beautiful scenery”
A hidden gem. We live quite close to the park and walk there from home. Typically we take our two dogs with us and they love it. Very peaceful to hang by the river and read a book. We hike a few miles to get our dogs some exercise and they love to cool off in the water.
Surprisingly lengthy trails. The lack of signage can really get you lost easily. Great if you want to explore and can keep track of your bearings so you can find your way back. Would be great if trails were somehow marked to make sure you're on the right path. Doesn't have to be fancy.
If you want a local trail with lots of visual diversity it's great. Bring boots it's almost always muddy year round though.
