Confirmed from Avenue A Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lush, grassy park featuring a water park and a splash pad, plus a stage and picnic tables.
What runners say about Avenue A Park
“The city maintains the Park, keeping it clean and entertaining.”
“This park is gorgeous, day or night.”
Picnic tables are in the shade. Kids enjoyed the water park includes a winding concrete 'creek' that enters Cow creek (safely) through aesthetic waterfall viewed from the opposite side or the footbridge.
This is a simple, but charming little park. It's fun to walk the paths around the canal, and under Main Street... the flowers are beautiful. There are vendors with crafts and musicians during Third Thursday and other various events.
