Confirmed from Carey Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large city park with plenty of recreational options, from river fishing to soccer & disc golf.
What runners say about Carey Park
“Especially our loved ones, as in my case, my beautiful, adorable wife whom I love so much and our teenage son in whom I am so proud.”
Carey Park has something for everyone, be they children or adults. I believe it hides perhaps its best content behind a large dike - the beautifully flowing Arkansas River, small strips of woodland, and a constantly changing riverbank.
I travel for business to Hutchinson and just discovered this gem. The 2.4 mile loop around the golf course and along the Arkansas River is a great place to exercise after work. I am looking forward to a round of golf in the future.
Great place…tons to do. Beautiful walking trails, a golf course, zoo, fishing pond and even a swimming pool. Hutchinson does a great job keeping it clean and patrolled so you can have fun and feel safe if you are out walking alone.
Great place to be. Golf corse, Frisbee golf, gazebos, playgrounds, soccer, baseball, softball fields, fishing, skateboard park, bike path, swimming pool and a Zoo!
