This park has a kid's playground, some basketball courts, and some baseball fields. They have a pool that's open to the public during the summer, but it is also available for swim lessons. They don't have a run track but the park has sidewalks all around the park, so one can run on the sidewalks.
Babcock Park has quite a long history with the city of Hialeah. The first community center, baseball field, and pool in Hialeah were all built by the Works Progress Administration after the Great Depression to put people back to work.
Been going to this park since I was an infant. Honestly, this review is biased. I find peace & serenity coming here, playing basketball with my younger brothers and cousins, walking around and just spending time here.
This park is very accessible, great for exercise, jog, play sports (tennis court, racquetball court, basketball court)and they have a kiddie section. Very safe park.
