Confirmed from Badger Mountain Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Badger Mountain Community Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (482 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 4 mentions

“Clean, lots of parking 10/10”

🌳 shaded & cool 6 mentions

“There's nothing for shade up there so dress appropriately and bring enough water because hit can get really hot under the blazing sun.”

This is a great park. Lots of open field space, baseball fields, a small basket ball court, a sports themed splash pad, a playground with big and small kids equipment and it's near wonderful walking trails. There's some shade provided by trees, but it could definitely use more.

Been here multiple times, alone and with the family. I think it's around 6 miles for the entire loop. There are two sides to the mountain you can go up and a couple different incline paths you can choose from; I'd say easy to moderate difficulty comparatively. Much of the loop hike is actually flat.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 18 mentions

“In the back in the park is a huge, well shaded dog park, split for large and small dogs.”
