We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Baltzell-Lenhart Woods Nature Preserve yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Baltzell-Lenhart Woods Nature Preserve
“Narrow trails, slightly muddy, but peaceful beautiful.”

Great place for an easy walk. About halfway around the trail is the best place to see old growth hardwood trees. (Old growth hardwood trees have high thick canopies that prevent brush from growing at ground level giving you a much better view.) In the summer months you need mosquito repellent most times of the day.
Beautiful, peaceful, and longer than expected. A few spider webs spanning the trail this time of year but easily remeied carrying a dead limb to wave in front when needed. Our border collie loved it!
Blink and you'll miss the entrance/parking lot. It was still quite snowy, and we weren't prepared, but I'm sure it is a lovely walk in the woods.
Nice feels like deep woods trail hike. Narrow trails, slightly muddy, but peaceful beautiful. Dogs allowed must be leashed.
