Confirmed from Banchoff Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring picnic sites, dog runs, a playground and trails.
What runners say about Banchoff Park
“The area is clean, and they have three separate parts for dogs of different sizes.”
This is a nice park, clean, well-maintained. Has hiking trails in the woods at the edge of the park. They don't seem to be well-used, as the trails were covered in new growth and, once, a spiderweb. Trails not very well marked. Peaceful, tho. Lots of people with dogs and kids and bikes.
We brought our dogs to the brand new dog park there, and it's great. There are three different dog runs with agility obsticles you can run your dogs through if you like. The little pond in the park is very picturesque. And the tennis courts look well maintained.
While this park can't be compared with a state or county park, it is a nice neighborhood park in the quieter side of Ewing Township. It has a porta potty and tennis courts, a small lake and paved pathways in addition to a hiking trail. There are many picnic tables and a small playground.
Great, fairly large dog park with 3 different fenced sections for different sized quadrupeds. Good playground and casual strolling paths too.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
