Confirmed from Barathaven Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Barathaven Park
“From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the natural beauty of the surroundings and the well-maintained facilities.”
“The park is beautiful only complaint is if they could cut down the weeds by the water edge so I can fish more then a couple places !”
“This beautiful park provided a serene and scenic escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.”
Nice place to take a short walk. The fall colors are lovely right now!
The native prairie grasses along the paths are gorgeous, and I heard a lot of birds while I was out painting. It's nice that the park is connected to Bluebird Meadow Park with the Dardenne Greenway and you get views of both the pond and the river. I painted, but there were people out biking, walking, and fishing.
Spent some time today cleaning the area up as part of the clean stream effort! Nice walking path around the lake.
