Confirmed from Dardenne Greenway at BaratHaven Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

We visit this Greenway often. It is convenient to our home and it is a nice place to go for a walk. It's 1 mile around the lake and another mile down and back for the prairie side. The prairie side is maintained with native prairie grasses and you can quite often see deer playing.

One of my favorite places to watch the sunset is at this trailhead near my house. I've put in my miles on these trails and now we have our own put-in for the Dardenne Blueway. Very lucky to have this trail system!

Really great hidden gem in a populated area! Driven by here many times and didn't think much about it but stopped by for a little fishing and discovered this place is great. As far as fishing goes, they have 3 "piers" to cast from and many "hidden" paths to get to waters edge.

★★★★☆ — Stig , Sep 2019

Beautiful lake loop and (adjacent) prairie loop with paved trails and picturesque sunrise / sunset foregrounds. The prairie loop (not included in the accompanying map) is accessed via a trail that goes east and passes under Henning Road.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
