Confirmed from Barnes Butte Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Barnes Butte Trailhead
“It was smokey towards Bend so couldn’t see the mountains this day but I can imagine there is a great view from there!”
Great (and easy) paved walking trails, regular hiking trails, and harder hikes up to the buttes. I wish there was a trail map or something, but if I lived here this would be my go-to walking and biking spot. Beautiful area!
Nice hiking place, multiple paths, paved and dirt, great place to bike or scooter etc . Keep in mind not to roller blade down the big paved hill, my son tried it. Overall it was a good!
Great place to walk, hike, run or even bike. This has several paths and trails. You can be there several hours or just a short time. It's absolutely beautiful!
We love hiking this trail system!! Have hiked almost every single trail that's there!
