We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Barrel Springs Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Parking is easy usually and it's free . The main equestrian trail is great exercise and the views are awesome. There are a ton of side trails . Be safe and vigilant though , especially if you are alone and going on the side trails. When there is water running though it's so pretty 😍 very popular spot .
Always enjoy a nice hike in this trail. You would need to start early to avoid the heat. They keep the trail pretty clean. They have also cleaned up the back trails really well. If you have an hour and love to be surrounded by nature, I think you would enjoy it.
Such a beautiful hiking trail. Very clean and enjoyable. Brought my teenage kids and grandson on spring break from Missouri.
Great trail if you’re looking for a shortish 2-3 mile walk. Couple steep hills at the beginning so beware. There’s a lot of bunnies and lizards out rn pretty cool if you ask me, I mean look at this little guy (you can’t really see him but trust me he was adorable) 😼
