Awesome place. None of the trails are more that a half a mile. All trails are google maps walking directions usable. As in I asked google how to get from one point to another and it gave me trail options and turn by turn directions through out the park.
Great little gardens and arboretum. Always something to do year round. Aside from the gardens, there are hiking trails, outdoor events and concerts, lectures, picnic areas, plant sales, a greenhouse, master gardener classes, activities geared towards families, camps for children and garden tours.
Lovely Arboretum and Gardens. Free to enter. Located right off of Merritt Parkway (Route 15). Lots of food options nearby along High Ridge Road. There is a large parking lot close to the main area nearby the visitor's/welcome center.
An amazing natural getaway with a wide variety of trees, gardens, and trails. With no entry fee, this is the best place to go for peaceful walks. These trails are dog-friendly and all of the people I interacted with here are welcoming such as the gardeners who frequent the space as well as the staff who manage it and…
