Confirmed from Bartram Forest WMA Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

⚠️ i gave this place a five star rating because it is beautiful and peaceful, and a wonderful walk and hike. so many trails, and it is very woodsy. i know many people come to ride bikes or hike, but i go to take my dog running and swimming and i’ve seen other people there doing the same with their dogs!

★★★★★ — Allison , Jun 2022

Great trail with lots of opportunities to take different routes every time. My dog is getting old so this was a little challenging for her, but there were lots of shady spots to take breaks along the way.

Great place to walk or run or just sit outdoors. I use it to get a little peace during hectic days and it works quite well.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
