We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Bay To Baker Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bay To Baker Trail
“Nice easy walk I really like it”
I walk a portion of this trail system almost daily; I'm grateful to have such a scenic footpath to enjoy while I walk to the bus stop, and then again home. Or to follow the trails all the way from Squalicum to Lake Whatcom.
Terrific spot for off leash dog walks. Access to the beach. Big, open places to run and a great trail.
Cool trail. Connects the bay routes to Cornwall park which more or less connects to railroad trail.
I love this trail, I know its a work in progress but I hope to see it when it gets done.
Trail conditions & character
“Perfect place to take your dog for a walk and excersize.”
