Confirmed from Bear Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City park with softball & basketball courts, a winter disc-golf course, playground & picnic shelter.
What runners say about Bear Creek Park
“My grandkids an my niece love this park an in the summer there's a couple of girls who ride their horse's through the park an let them go for a ride, super clean an friendly park!”
“This is a fairly new park with young trees and one day they will mature to give more shade.”
Such a great park! Bathrooms are basically clean. Good trees for some shade and a great covered area you can rent if needed. Our large honeschool group has used this park several times this school year and it has been perfect. Even had our Firefighter presentation here.
This is a smaller local community style of parks here in Meridian. They have a nice simple ball diamond with a small grandstand for people to sit and enjoy the game. They also have a water play area for the small tykes to get wet and cool down.
A clean, paved path circles the park's edge, inviting visitors for a walk or run. The park buzzes with activity, from the baseball field where games are played to the lively basketball courts. It's a welcoming space for everyone, including those with pets.
My niece and nephew love this park. Safe neighborhood, clean and up to date play equipment, and lots of greenery. Definitely wish doing by if you have kids. 1/2 mile blacktop path around the park, two baseball diamonds, a basketball court, and the play area. Great place for a family afternoon or evening.

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
