Confirmed from Beaver Brook Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Spacious, clean recreational park that's divided by size for dogs to play and run freely.

What runners say about Beaver Brook Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (316 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“The whole park is always really clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 4 mentions

“Great place for the whole family, even your dogs too! Our dogs love the dog park and the kids love the playground and running along while I walk the paved paths.”

It's a very attractive feature of Worcester. Well maintained large facility that allowed city dogs a chance to run. Separate area for large and small dogs. Would be a 5 except some dog owners let their dogs rough house unattended. Not good but not parks fault - just untrained dog owners.

A True Worcester Gem! I just love Beaver Brook Park, it's such a fantastic spot for pretty much everyone. In the summer, the splash pad is an absolute lifesaver for the kids. They can run around for hours and cool off, and the adjacent playground is great too, with plenty of stuff to keep them busy.

My favorite dog park in Worcester so far. It's large and has some trees for shade. There's a split for dogs over and under 35 pounds so every dog can play safely.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 40 mentions

“There are sometimes folks who bring in reactive dogs they cannot control in order to 'help socialize' at others' expense.”

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
