Confirmed from Coes Reservoir Boardwalk's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Coes Reservoir Boardwalk
“Beautiful and accessible boardwalk connected to Coes playground.”
“Well maintained trail for all ages, stroller friendly, pet friendly, super flat pathway easy to walk or run.”
Quiet, cool, shady and wide. This boardwalk is a lovely place to walk. It’s nestled between a hill of forested conservation land and Coes Reservoir and it feels like I’ve left the city. I regularly see wood ducks, swan, geese and loon. Last fall there was a family of hooded merganser ducks!
The boardwalk addition definitely is a good thing that Worcester has done. The extra beach is gone but you get a stunning views of the Pond with the hills in the background and awesome hangout spots to just reflect, fish, spend time with family and friends and it connects the playground and the rest of the East-West…

Beautiful and accessible boardwalk connected to Coes playground. Great fishing spot, and a bird blind.
