Confirmed from Beckman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Fenced space for dogs to run around on grass and socialize.
What runners say about Beckman Park
“I moved from a Vegas and I’ve never been to a fenced in dog park this huge w/ well-maintained lush grass and natural trees.”
“The community of dog owners here is friendly, and it's always a joy to watch our dogs socialize and have a great time.”
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beckmann Park is a fantastic place for both dogs and their owners! The open field provides ample space for our furry friends to run and play freely. The park is well-maintained, and the cleanliness is impressive.
Great place to walk the dog. No water for dogs in the park. Restrooms on the east side, have been unlocked and have water for you to use. One dog bag station on north side of park at enterance. Please take advantage of this and pickup after your dog. Dogs off leash area is on the north side of park.
THE DOG PARK OF DOG PARKS. THE SAD PART HUMANS RUIN EVERYTHING. CLEANUP AFTER YOUR PETS. THE ORGINIZATION THAT RUNS THIS PARK, ARE TOP NOTCH INDIVIDUALS. ITS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HOW BEAUTIFUL THE PARK IS.
Me and my pups first time to a dog park and let's just say it was amazing! Tons of room to run around and even if there is 30+ dogs it never feels cramped. Very well maintained and everyone there is nice.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
