Confirmed from Bell Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sport-focused park featuring lighted baseball & football fields, plus a playground & picnic areas.
What runners say about Bell Memorial Park
“Despite being a bit far outside of the city, this is a great option for well-maintained practice fields and clean facilities.”
“One of the most beautiful parks in Alpharetta.”
“It is such a family friendly place.”
One of the most beautiful parks in Alpharetta. The walk around is short but the part through the woods is beautiful.
Nice organized park with plenty of parking to the left and 6 sporting fields to the right. In the center quad by the baseball fields is a concession building with restrooms and a small playground for children. A pavillion is present near the front.
March 28, 2024 Sasha and I went to Bloom Roadside and got two donuts and our Iced lattes. We then went to Bell Park for Sofia and her friend to hang out, and headed to Halcyon to meet up with Shawn and let Sofia run around. We both got a drink at Cherry Street Brewpub and I got General Tso Tofu at Gu's Dumplings.
Small, but very beautiful park. Large parking lot, softball field, football/soccer field and a nice track to run. There's also a nice playground for the kids. Public restrooms are clean and there is a family room as well. Overall great park.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
