Confirmed from Fowler Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public space including a recreation center, sports fields & courts, 2 playgrounds & a skate park.
What runners say about Fowler Park
“The playground was clean and well kept and safe.”
“Beautiful big park slow on the weekdays busy on the weekends but plenty of space to accommodate socializing or a nice afternoon alone”
“Overall, it’s a well-rounded, family-friendly destination with plenty of amenities and activities for all ages.”
Beautiful park with several walking trails, track, skate parks, basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer/baseball fields, and more. One of the trails leads to Halcyon, which takes over an hour if walking at a fast pace... it's worth it❤️
This is a large park with soccer and baseball areas plus large pavilions for special events. There are walking trails and large fields for sports use. I was there for a Halloween dog event. There were alot of people there with their dogs and about 25 vendors. There is plenty of free parking available.
Nice trails, lots of public tennis courts check online for activities and stuff before trying to play tennis though, it can’t get booked in pretty crowded during tournaments and such. There’s a nice wetlands trail that goes the whole way to Halycon.
Beautiful park with walking tracks, slides for kids, sports courts. Great place for picnic parties, get togethers, and outings. It has basketball courts, tennis courts, skating area and plenty of parking space.
Trail conditions & character
“It has basketball courts, tennis courts, skating area and plenty of parking space.”
“Beyond pickleball, the park offers an impressive range of sports options: four baseball fields, eight soccer fields, a dedicated dog park, and four tennis courts.”
“The lights remain on late enough for evening activities and are turned off only around 11 PM, which is great for families who prefer cooler nighttime play.”
“The water fountain by tennis courts has not worked for 2 years now and the bathrooms could use some work and cleaning.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
