We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Bellows South Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“The trailhead was easy to locate and well maintained.”
“It's about a half hour drive to the summit from the base and the scenery is beautiful.”

Mount Greylock is the tallest mountain in Massachusetts & this trail leads from the bottom (Eastern side of the mountain) to the summit. This trail is very difficult & is only for those who have some good hiking experience & are in shape.
Easy to find. The trailhead was easy to locate and well maintained. Only room for about 12 cars in the parking lot.
Great trail with no stop elevation gain but well worth the reward overlooking the valley below
Great hike! We went 12 December and it was icy. Need microspikes or crampons.
Trail conditions & character
“Unless you Bush whack a bit following the sound of rushing water to find a few hidden waterfalls on the lower end of the trail.”
“Great trail with no stop elevation gain but well worth the reward overlooking the valley below”
“Great trailhead and it can get pretty steep but overall not too difficult.”
“what is less amazing was the guy in a blue stoic ski jacket who left his dogs poop right at the beginning of the ski track and said to his dog “oh was that you?”
