Beautiful and thoughtful area sectioned off on the sand near the 1st Ave boardwalk. It protects migrating birds and gives them room and a private area to care for their families. People are not allowed to enter, it is roped off. This keeps the birds safe. If you walk along the outer edge, you are able to see the birds.
Fantastic!!! On and After Memorial Day, the crowds will come. Even then Belmar, NJ. Beach is nice. Now, it is so nice to drive to the town, park and take a quiet stroll on the boardwalk. There are no amusements The town and beach are also quiet. A real gem during the week!
Had a fantastic visit here and it wasn't even spring yet. Beautiful and clean place. Friendly people, on the beach, great jetty for fishing, miles of clean beach front with rest rooms not to far. Must visit place.
