Confirmed from Benjamin Rush State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park is a hidden unexpected gem 💎 located in North East Philadelphia. It’s almost 300 acres and includes walking trails 🏃🏾‍♀️🚶, picnic 🧺 areas, hiking 🥾, community gardens 🥬🥕🍅🪴 complete with bee 🐝 hives and a Radio Controlled Airplane ✈️ Club ! It borders the Poquessing Creek on the north.

This is a really nice and peaceful park for short hikes and picnics. They have lots of green grass and open space, free restrooms and plenty of parking. I will be visiting again!

★★★★★ — Miriam , Aug 2018

It's a nice walk but a little scribby. I didn't feel entirely safe walking through the woods because I see someone's clothes drying on a log

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 7 mentions

“Finding the car entrance was a little tricky, but once you're in, parking lots are in 3 locations around the park.”
