Confirmed from Berks Leisure Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxing park with bike and walking trails, plus a pavilion with picnic tables.
What runners say about Berks Leisure Area
“Love it, go there in morning and evening for a walk, it always feels safe and is very clean No pets are allowed Great for cycling”
“Absolutely beautiful,so nice to have such beautiful nature to enjoy.”
Berks Leisure Area is a wonderful place for walking, hiking , running etc The trail criscrosses the Conestoga Creek and has a canoe/kayak portage that allows you to access a real live stream.
Nice trail and places to sit. There is a pavilion with two charcoal grills nearby. The parking lot isn't as big as the Grings Mill location but this is a little off the beaten path.
Very tranquil and beautiful park. Pavilion and water fountain at the beginning of the trail from parking lot. Paved pathways, dog on leash friendly, cool wooden bridge with a pretty view and plenty of shaded or sunny spots to sit and enjoy the river and nature.
Beautiful trail system for hiking and biking. Shaded in most areas along the waterway.
