Confirmed from Bethel Mountain Biking Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Bethel Mountain Biking Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (123 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“This trail is well kept by a national affiliated mountain bike group that are really passionate about their hobby.”

Awesome place to camp, bike, hike and more. I was traveling around and this is a place that I was at camping for several days and not very far from a town where you can grab some food real quick if it's raining too much to have a fire and so on and yet can have a camping trip adventure if traveling around.

Came here several times while spending a couple months in the area for work. Definitely Sandy as said, with occasional roots and rocks. Nothing too technical or dramatic and excellent for beginners.

★★★★☆ — Mac , Apr 2016

Trail is nice. I went bike packing here and camped along the creek. The water was ice cold. And the park ranger was very nice. I will go here again

Great trail for the location. Good diversity with open pine forests to hardwood creekside trails. The biggest downsides are that the trails are mostly flat and have a few sandy areas.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
