Confirmed from Bicentennial Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed space offering picnic areas and a paved walkway that runs through open woods.
What runners say about Bicentennial Conservation Area
“For the most part was great, clean, about half mile circle.”
“Not alot of foot traffic, peaceful.”
Very quite wildlife area with some descent wide trails & some narrow single track trails. Hardly ever anyone out here! Search for the old WWII housing structures! GAIA GPS from the app store has a number of the trails (including the primitive lesser traveled)- even the free version of the app .
Fun place to explore. Lots of old home sights and trails to try out. I recommend trying it out a section at a time. It is fairly easy to get turned around.
It's a nice little place to go to and enjoy the nature and woods they have a handicap trail here. There's lots to see and I have yet to explore everything. I will be going very soon again to do some bushcrafting and have a little campfire with steak potatoes and Mexican corn.
Nice walk. Not alot of foot traffic, peaceful. I generally went for a walk during my lunch break. Only saw one or two people as a rule. Recommend during spring and fall. Lots of vines and interesting foliage off the main trail. (Not much documentation on the trails...might be something to improve in the future)
Trail conditions & character
“There is a half mile paved walking loop and then lots of hiking trails.”
“The bathroom is rudimentary but was good to have before my hike.”
“Ample parking, the distance of the trail is good, nice benches and a deck for variation.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
