Confirmed from Bixler Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What a great place to go for a walk. Can't wait to check it out this summer as it was cold and windy the day we went.
I loved going here. I went here alot when I lived in Kendallville. I fished here a lot from the bank a kayak and a bass boat. Caught my biggest bass from this lake. Also caught several pike. At one time the state record for biggest pike was caught from this lake. I also walked and rode my mountain bike on the trails.
This is a beautiful park with many mature trees, a level paved sidewalk, tennis courts, and a playground. There's also a very nice veterans memorial, a covered shelter, a disc golf course and a swimming area.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
