Confirmed from Greenhurst Commons - ACRES Land Trust's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Biking, hiking, and fishing spot featuring trails and wildlife views.
What runners say about Greenhurst Commons - ACRES Land Trust
“Beautiful place to go for a walk and enjoy the scenery!”
“I saw and heard plenty of birds and only a couple other people walking the loop so it was very peaceful.”
This is definitely the most family friendly Acres property since it's completely paved. I walked the entirety of the loop and it came out to be 2.12 miles and took just under 40 minutes. I saw and heard plenty of birds and only a couple other people walking the loop so it was very peaceful.
Beautiful trail with lots of wildlife. Many times I've seen deer and fox. Nice place to walk or ride a bike! Very quiet and serene.
The trails cross streams and prairies, pass hugh trees through rolling hills in this city park nestled between houses and a golf course. Along the way we saw turtles, squirrel, ground squirrel/hog, fish, a wide variety of birds, and a garder snake. All trails are paved but unmarked.
This retired golf course is a great park with paved walkways. Makes for very peaceful nature walks, runs, or rides.

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark

- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
