Confirmed from Black Hoof Park Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Black Hoof Park Trailhead
“Beautiful place for walking and hiking at the same time.”
“The paths are kept clean and nice and great walking and running and biking trail.”
DETERMINE YOUR ENTRANCE. The trailhead is just that, entrance to one of the many trails- none of which, or few, connected in a big circle. To get to the pictures that are posted here, you'll be walking a few miles to get to. Depending on your hiking company, I'd suggest the Black Hoof Park entrance.
Great trail, sometimes can see wildlife and the lake is enjoyable to walk around. The paths are kept clean and nice and great walking and running and biking trail.
Love walking here with my family! It's not relatively flat and easy to walk. Scenery is gorgeous and trails are maintained.
Beautiful place for walking and hiking at the same time. I went with my 12 yo son, we enjoyed every single minute there.
