Confirmed from Blacklick Woods Metro Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I have always loved going for walks in the park. Blacklick Park just kicked out up a notch by adding the covered walkway! They now appear to be more family friendly, as I witnessed more families, couples, babies, toddlers.... all walks of life! It's a great place to experience.

Beautiful, peaceful, and well-kept! Blacklick Woods is a hidden gem. The trails are clean and easy to follow, with lots of shade and spots to sit and enjoy nature. I was especially impressed by how neat and well-maintained the restrooms were—super clean, fully stocked, and no bad smells, which is rare for a park!

I did not do trails went for the canopy walk, it is short but did not disappoint! There are a bunch of steps, however for those who have medical/physical limitations there is an elevator. The environment is serene and beautiful, amazing as it is in the middle of a large bustling community!

Yesterday, the park celebrated it's one year anniversary. They had kids games, activities and three food trucks. The staff was very friendly and it's a beautiful park worth the visit, with a handful of options for different walking paths.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
