Confirmed from Blaine Open Space Lexington Ave's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Beautiful wilderness area with easy-hiking trails (including boardwalks) for observing wildlife.
What runners say about Blaine Open Space Lexington Ave
“Beautiful, suggest going morning or evening in the summer time.”
Beautiful natural area with well maintained walking trails. Many extend over the wetlands on raised walkways that extend from East Lake Park to Lexington Ave, where there is a parking lot. It's a wonderful place for walking or biking.
Nice long boardwalk. Perfect for running without having to cross streets. Nice assortment of plant life along the trail as well.
It's close to home, a nice place to walk. It is just out and back . Just a short part has shade, so i wouldn't suggest going on a hot sunny day.
Beautiful, suggest going morning or evening in the summer time. It can get very hot on the boardwalk when you're in the direct sunlight.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
