Confirmed from Bloomingdale Trail Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Drinking fountains, garbages, recycling, ton of exits, benches, exit points, streets are labeled, incredible landscaping with tons of native Illinois vegetation, security cameras periodically, padded sides for joggers. However, I always thought of this as a cycling trail first. Then joggers.

★★★★★ — Kristi , Jul 2023

A beautiful Green Space path in an urban setting. There is a soft track Walkers and runners.

★★★★★ — Michael , Jul 2023

A beautiful trail for walking, running, cycling etc. It is about 2.7 miles long. It is clean and well structured. I like how they indicate how many miles you've traversed on the ground. Hiking here is a great way to shed some calories or improve your fitness in general.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
